Yellow glow energizing water

Yellow Glow Energizing Water with Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, and Chili to help boost your immune system.
You will perhaps remember, that Mitja and I were feeling ill and a bit down with a cold last week. I don’t know about you, but when we are ill, we will consume just about anything that we hope will make us feel better. But no matter what you do, colds do tend to run their course in a week or so anyway.
But, there is plenty you can do to prevent falling ill in the first place, like get enough sleep, live stress-free and eat healthy and nutrient-rich foods. And when you’re under stress or when the seasons change, help your body fight by adding a bit more nutrients and vitamins.
So in an effort to help our immune system, we were advised to consume a mixture of ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon.
Turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory compound that increases the antioxidant capacity of our body. It can also help prevent or perhaps even treat cancer and has incredible benefits against depression. A healthy mind = a healthy body.
Ginger fights nausea and helps with digestion. A healthy gut = a healthy body. It also lowers blood sugars and improves heart disease risk.
Chili peppers boost circulation, thin the blood and help protect against strokes. They also provide pain relief and reduce inflammation, but most important while sick – help clear congestion and help you relax more easily. Rest is equally important!
Combine that with Vitamin C from the citrus and antioxidants from the honey and you have yourself a very beneficial drink right there.
And so we created this Yellow Glow Energizing Water, that is – might we add – refreshing and amazing and will hopefully help us stay healthy.
Now I am not saying this drink will heal your ills, but it may help preventing catching anything, what with the arrival of the influenza season soon.
This Energizing Water is made with just a couple of ingredients and it literally takes minutes to prepare.
